HandLetter is designed to create handwriting fonts entirely on your device. Your handwriting stays yours.

Data Collection

HandLetter does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking, or analytics.

On-Device Processing

Handwriting images, drawings, glyphs, font projects, and generated font files are processed and stored only on your device. They are not sent to the developer or to third-party servers.

Camera and Photo Access

HandLetter accesses the camera or photo library only when you choose to capture or import handwriting. Selected content remains on your device unless you explicitly share or export it using the system share sheet.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. Files you export are controlled by the destination you select.

Children's Privacy

HandLetter does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
